CASL Creativity Award

The purpose of this award is to recognize an innovative creative instructional lesson that integrates subject content with school library learning standards and technology. Creativity is demonstrated in the instructional strategy or the task assigned to students.

A winning lesson will demonstrate a connection between competencies in the Learner Framework of the National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries and content area curriculum standards. Applicants may also refer to the AASL/ISTE Crosswalk.

The winner will receive the Creativity Award in the amount of $500. The recipient of this award will be expected to present a visual display that documents the project at the Annual CASL Conference or Annual Meeting.
